Things to know about Tennis at Corolla Light

Are private lessons available?

Private lessons are available Monday-Friday. Please call or text Aly at 321-759-0286 to schedule a lesson. The cost is $75 for a hour, for 1-3 people. Clinic rates of $20 per person go into effect for

groups of 4 or more.

Is there a minimum attendance required for clinics and events?

Yes, we require at least two people signed up per clinic, and usually two teams per

tournament or social event. Please sign up in advance to avoid a possible class cancellation, we will notify you the evening before if we need to cancel for lack of participation.

Do clinics ever fill up?

Participation levels change every week, but during June, July and August most of our clinics

are consistently full, some with wait lists. We encourage early sign ups through

our "Book Now" page for clinics and tournaments, and early contact to schedule

private lessons.

Where are the clinics, tournaments and lessons held?

Because Corolla Light has three main locations of tennis courts spread out over the resort, the events are often held in different places. In the summer most of the clinics and lessons will

be held on the hardcourts located on Austin St. However we do use the indoor courts at

1026 Trail in times of excessive heat, or rain, and the clay courts on Rt 12 as needed. Once you register for a event you will be notified of its location.

Do you have a Pro Shop?

We do! Located in the Sports Center at 1026 Ocean Trail, we have a variety of items for sale.

We stock the latest Wilson Tennis Racquets along with balls, grips, dampeners and much more. We also have pickleball paddles, balls, and Corolla Light Tennis Tee Shirts available. We also are able to re-string and re-grip tennis racquets in the shop.

Do you rent or provide racquets?

Racquets are available at no charge for those participating in clinics or lessons.

Racquets for other use are available for rent at the Sports Center for $5.50 per day.

What's your cancellation policy?

Because we don't require prepayment for classes, we don't have any cancellation fees.

However we strongly ask you be considerate of everyone and give timely cancellations.

What kind of shoes do I wear?

Flat bottom shoes with no deep ridges in the soles are mandatory on all clay courts.

Any tennis shoe is acceptable for hard courts.
